The best way to guide children to be inclusive members of our community is to offer a safe space where children can learn, play and socialize with children from other backgrounds, abilities and beliefs. Our youth services do not interfere with any families religious teachings. We simply ask that the children and all others present act according to the our guiding principals. For a child that means the following:
Be Respectful
Be Kind
Be Compassionate
Be Accepting
Be Curious
Be Fair
Be Welcoming.
Be Inclusive
Open 5 days a week, the Kids Club is a place where kids can have fun and feel comfortable being themselves. We are 100% inclusive and welcome kids of all backgrounds and abilities. We have an adapted program for kids with higher level needs. The kids club offers a fun welcoming atmosphere. Our trained volunteers are here to keep kids safe and supported while they play board games, read in the lounge, make crafts, or sign up for one of our many classes or activities. All meals, snacks and the cost of activities are included with the membership fees & day passes. Kids may also pay individually for activities and classes.
We have full day hours to support the members of our community whose kids do not attend public school, and a limited number of sign up slots for kids who our volunteers can transport from our early risers social group to local schools and a few slots for kids to be picked up from local schools to attend our evening activities.
For the adapted kids program please contact us to discuss how we can meet your child's needs
